April 27 – Beale AFB, Marysville, CA – Protests organized by Occupy Beale Air Force Base at3 to 5 p.m. at the Wheatland Gate; Tuesday, April 28, 6 to 8 a.m. at the Main Gate, with nonviolent direct action planned. Kathy Kelly and Brian Terrell will join anti-drone activists at Beale Air Force Base on Monday afternoon, April 27 and Tuesday morning, April 28, to demonstrate opposition to the U.S. drone warfare program. Nonviolent direct action is planned for Tuesday morning. The theme of the April demonstrations will be “Taxes for human need, not for war.”
Kelly and Terrell will also be speaking in Grass Valley on Tuesday evening, April 28, at 7 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Community of the Mountains, 246 South Church Street, in Grass Valley.
